Aunt Peggy Is the Coolest

Peggy loved her niece and was looking forward to moving in with her sister and brother-in-law so she could spend more time with her. The real reason she needed a place to stay was that she decided to drop out of her doctorate program in the field of nuclear physics and work on becoming an actress. Despite not having ever participated in school plays or drama programs, Peggy was convinced she had what it took to be a superstar. Prior to this life-changing decision, every time she had visited her sister, her niece Emily always avoided her, openly demonstrating how much she did not want to spend time with her studious and boring aunt. Peggy was determined to change that.

In exchange for her room and board, Peggy agreed to help her sister and brother-in-law by watching Emily when she got home from school. This was a great opportunity for Peggy to not only practice her acting but to build her "cool aunt" reputation as well. The first afternoon did not go so well. Aunt Peggy had jumped out from a closet to practice a monster character and scared Emily so badly she wouldn't come out of her bedroom for a week. ...
