Story excerpt = first paragraph:
The Bruin family were tired of struggling to survive in Prussia and decided to head to America with hopes for a better life. Upon arriving in New York, however, they realized the New World was almost as bad as the Old World. Mr. Bruin was convinced they needed to head even further west and started following all the tales and stories about the wild, outlaw towns popping up along the transcontinental railway. He soon became convinced that the only way to make his way in the world was to form an outlaw gang and steal, cheat, and swindle his way to the top.
